Galaxy Backbone Limited (GBB) yesterday hosted the Presidential Media Team led by Mr. Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information & Strategy. The delegation was received by the Managing Director/CEO of GBB, Professor Ibrahim Adeyanju alongside Executive Directors and members of the Senior management team.
During the visit, the team took a guided tour of GBB’s facilities and infrastructure, gaining first-hand insight into the organisation’s role as the digital backbone of government. They expressed strong impressions about GBB’s capacity, resilience, and readiness to support secure, scalable, and sovereign digital services for public institutions.
Mr. Onanuga and members of the Presidential Media Team encouraged Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), as well as other organisations, to leverage and host their digital services on Galaxy Backbone’s infrastructure, noting its importance to national digital transformation, data sovereignty, and efficient public service delivery.
