Mohammed Sani Ibrahim – Executive Director, Finance & Corporate Services

Mohammed Sani Ibrahim holds a first degree in Business Administration from the University of Abuja, after which he proceeded to acquire a Master’s Degree in International Business in Dubai. Sani kicked off his Career as a Key Resource in setting up Legacy Pension Managers Ltd (Now FCMB Pensions Ltd).

He later joined the NGX group (Nigerian Stock Exchange) where he gained vast experience in financial regulation. As a result of his interests in technology and business process automation, he spearheaded the automation of the regulatory process that brought about the maiden financial regulation solution at the Exchange (X-Broker Oversight & Supervision System. Due to the systems robustness, this was also extended to other agencies in the financial services regulation space for unitary rendition of returns. With this effort, the Regulation Technology Department was formed.

Sani was a member of the Financial Services Regulatory Coordinating Committee (FRSCC) of Nigeria, where he contributed into the advancement of the framework for the co-ordination of regulatory and supervisory activities in the Nigerian Financial sector through the implementation of technology. After which he proceeded to become a consultant with Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC) Canada as an Auditor.

He then joined TD Bank (Toronto Dominion Bank) where he participated in the planning and implementation of annual Audit Programs for Internal Control Over Financial Reporting for both Business Processes and IT Audits.

Sani is a trained Project Manager, Business Analyst, Scrum Master and applies this to effective planning and task execution.

He is also a Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Certified Bank Examiner.

Sani enjoys Swimming playing lawn tennis and fishing.
