Yusuf Kazuare
is a seasoned professional with over 25 years cumulative working experience spanning Construction, Banking, Government and Information Technology.
His passion for deepening the role of ICT for effective governance and national development resulted his being a key member of the initial core team that gave birth to Galaxy Backbone in 2006 where he was the Deputy Managing Director and later Executive Director. Over the years while leading different projects for GBB, he has developed an exceptional understanding of the business and IT Operations aspects of managing a technology organisation in government. His wealth of experience, Leadership led to his appointment as the MD/CEO of Galaxy Backbone in September 2014.
Yusuf possesses a BSc and M.Sc in Architecture from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Bayero University Kano. He also has a Diploma in Computing from Oxford University in the UK.
He has also attended many executive training courses at various universities including Insead in France, Strategic Alliances at Wharton, University of Pennsylvania, USA, the Advance Management Program (AMP) of the Lagos Business School, The CIO Institute of Carnegie Mellon University USA, and the E-government Course at the Sung Kyun Kwan University, Seoul, South Korea.
