With over 20 years’ experience in Cybersecurity and Network Management, Maxmathin Uneanya has helped organizations develop, establish, secure, maintain and manage network infrastructures. He joined Galaxy Backbone LTD in 2010 as a technical manager saddled with the responsibility of establishing network security and a security operations center (SOC) to not only protect the infrastructure and connected clients, but offer expert opinion and consulting to clients in cybersecurity and network protection
Prior to the engagement with Galaxy Backbone LTD, Max worked with various reputable organizations in the United States including but not limited, TSYS Inc, Food Lion PLC and DSW Inc. In the last 9 years, Maxmathin has worked in various capacities at Galaxy backbone LTD spanning from Network Security Architect, through Network Security Manager, Network Operations, to Network Implementation Manager.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Imo state University, a Master of business administration from Columbus state university in Columbus, Georgia, and Doctor of Business Administration degree in Technology Management from Capella University in Minneapolis, MN
He is a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) and a member of Computer Professionals of Nigeria (CPN)
