Managed Network Services

A managed network is an outsourced network that provides some or all the network solutions required by your organization. This service is delivered as a cloud infrastructure service or installed and managed in-house by Galaxy Backbone.

Managed Local Area Network Service​Interconnects customer devices within a Head office, Branch office or Residential area using wired, wireless or hybrid technology. Includes planning, design, provisioning, optimizing and administration of local area networks​
  • Delivers up to 1 gigabit speed to customer devices

  • Includes basic network administration services Proactive LAN health checks and optimization

  • Proactive performance monitoring and capacity planning services

  • Preventive maintenance​
  • Delivers up to 10 gigabit and above speed to customer devices

  • Provides UTM protection services and network security based segmentation
  • Proactive LAN monitoring and capacity planning

  • Provide 98% availability within Scheduled Service Times

  • Guarantees Latency (Round Trip Delay) Not Greater than 300ms for terrestrial based services and 900ms for Satellite based services

  • To process requests for Minor Movements, Additions or Changes (MMAC) within 2 Business Days

  • Restore services within 4 hours for a severity 1 outage; 24 hours for a severity 2 outage and within 96 hours for a severity 3 outage
Managed Local Area Network Service
  • Provide 99% availability within Scheduled Service Times

  • Guarantees Latency (Round Trip Delay) Not Greater than 3ms within LAN

  • To process requests for Minor Movements, Additions or Changes (MMAC) within 2 Business Days

  • Restore services within 2 hours for a severity 1 outage; 24 hours for a severity 2 outage and within 96 hours for a severity 3 outage
