In a move to enhance secure digital communication across government institutions, Galaxy Backbone (GBB) has issued a press release announcing its plan to train over 300 civil servants on the adoption, management, and administration of the official government email platform, Govmail. “This initiative is in alignment with the Federal Government’s digitalization agenda, which prioritizes secure, efficient, and technology-driven governance. By equipping civil servants with the necessary expertise to optimize Govmail, the government is ensuring seamless communication across MDAs while strengthening data security and operational efficiency,” the statement read. The training Is targeted at email administrators and ICT heads from various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), reinforcing GBB’s role as a key enabler of digital public infrastructure.
